HP Icon

The HP icon was a simple addition to the players health section. I wanted the health icon to represent our characters heart. With gears of discovery being based around a robot that is trying to upgrade and find out about his past I felt a half robot half human heart would be most fitting. With this in mind I just needed to create a cartoonish heart shape and divide it into two distinct sections, one for the robot side and one for the human side. This gave the heart a bit of character and allows it to stand out from standard heart icons within 3D platformer video games.
