Player Lives Icon

The player lives Icon was an important piece of the player HUD. This icon needed to show the player what it was just by looking at the icon. I decided to go with the player characters head, similar to games such as Mario. This allowed the player to easily link that icon with their player character and figure out that it is linked to the amount of lives they have. Placing the player lives in the top right corner of the players screen was the most optimal location to place this icon. It keeps the extra information out of the players view when trying to focus on obsticals/puzzles but is easy to find when the information is needed.
